The most beautiful beaches in Greece such as Falasarna, Elafonissi, and Balos are 1–2 hour drive from the villa. These beaches make the perfect day trip with crystal blue water, soft white sand, and traditional seaside tavernas.
There are plenty of boating excursions close by. Most boat tours leave from the port of Chania. Visit the pristine Gramvousa Beach and Venetian fortress, go spearfishing and catch fish for dinner, or swim up to world class beaches such as Falasarna, Elafonissi, and Balos.
Located an hour and fifteen minutes from the villa is Europe’s longest gorge. Hiking this gorge is one of the most popular activities on Crete. The Samaria Gorge hike is 13km long ending at a picturesque seaside village on the Cretan coast.
Only a 20 minute drive from the villa is the Old Venetian Port of Chania. The old town of Chania is a great spot to spend an afternoon or watch the sunset. The Old Venetian Port was built in the 14th century by the Venetians and the bustling harbor includes a restored lighthouse, shops & eateries.
